Dr. Angela Hignite graduated with a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Pikeville in 2012. She then did her residency with East Kentucky Family Medicine in Hazard, where she graduated in 2015. Dr. Hignite loves small towns and is excited about working with patients from McKee. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, attending church functions and drawing/painting.
I grew up in Eastern Kentucky in a little town called Emmalena. I spent my undergraduate years at Alice Lloyd College before attending the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Upon graduation I spent my three years of residency at the St. Elizabeth Family Medicine Residency program in Northern Kentucky. Once residency was over I accepted my position with White House Clinics to serve the McKee and Jackson County community. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with wife and three children, hunting, and following UK basketball. Go CATS!
